Jennifer Cowling-Burtsfield

Jennifer Cowling-Burtsfield holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas.  She is a graduate of West Orange-Stark High School.

Jennifer began her career in the financial services industry with Edward Jones in 1999 and joined Wachovia Securities in 2001 which eventually merged with Wells Fargo Advisors. Along with her husband and business partner, she began her own business as Cowling & Burtsfield Wealth Management, LLC in 2012. 

She is devoted to taking care of the individual needs and goals of her clients while concentrating on strategies to help manage the risk level in their portfolio and preserve capital. Using the tools available, she works on investment plans to accomplish client objectives. In addition to her securities registrations and insurance licenses, Jennifer is an Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) and a Certified Retirement Counselor.

Jennifer is a past president of the Riparian Business & Professional Women; an Ambassador, Board Member and past Chairman of the Board of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce; a past President and member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Orange County; a past President and past Board Member of the Orange Rotary Club; a Board Member of Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA of the Sabine Neches Region as well as a graduate of the 2008 class of Leadership Southeast Texas.

Jennifer is married to Bryan and together they have four children - Mason, Cassie, Brylee and Lawson.  Away from the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bryan Burtsfield

Partner

Bryan is a 1995 graduate of Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. 

He has worked in the Financial Industry since 2001.  He began his career with First Star Investments in 2001 and in 2002 began working for A.G. Edwards and Sons which eventually merged with Wells Fargo Advisors.  Along with his wife and partner, he began his own business as Cowling & Burtsfield Wealth Management, LLC in 2012. 

Bryan truly enjoys building long-term financial strategies for serious investors.  Each individual's risk tolerance determines the unique advice given, and his guidance and discipline are the mainstays to helping clients reach their goals.

He is member of the Board of the United Way of Orange County; a past member of the Board of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce; a 2012 graduate of Leadership Southeast Texas; a past president of the Hot Springs Sunrise Rotary club in Hot Springs, AR.  During his presidency, the Hot Springs Sunrise Rotary club was chosen as “Organization of the Year” for their community service.  Bryan was also active in the community as an adult advisor to the Youth Advisory Council a division of the Hot Springs Area Community Foundation.  A program designed to teach youth philanthropy as teenage members raise funds, build endowments, accept grant applications and fund grants. 

Bryan is married to Jennifer and together they have four children - Mason, Cassie, Brylee and Lawson.  Away from the office, Bryan  enjoys spending time with his family and friends along with maintaining his hobbies of hunting, fishing and motorcycling.
